I lost my key and I had a astic key , I had duplicate
keys made but they wont work, what do I need to
So you have a valet key, and made duplicates. Did you have a correct transponder key made? Either way , you need a chipped key and have them programmed to your vehicle. Since the car is probably at your house call a local locksmith to come out and help.
Since you do not have a working key you have to have the new keys programmed to the vehicle by someone using a scan tool. Either a locksmith or the Chevy Dealer. HTH. -Jim
Mark is right on again, Chipped key is needed and programmed..
