Will a '96 dodge ram 1500 tranny fit in a '94 dodge ram 1500?

The plugs on the side don't match up is there any way to make it work?

it depends on the transmission model the easiest way to find this is to match up the transmission pan size and shape

if you can change the sensors out then yesit depends about overdrive aswell weather the new and old transmissions have it
