how about the coil what condition is it in...also you may have to hook up a fuel pressure tester and monitor fuel pressure should be 52 psi + or - 5 psi ...pump may be heating up and shutting down

I recently purchased a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 pick up. It has an Awesome ride and appearance. My father owned it and used it mainly for stuff to do the yard, mulch, sand, etc. I am just wondering now that I drive it daily to work should I switch oils to a synthetic to keep the engine at its prime?
