wheres the security relay in a 2001 impala?

the security light is on and the car wont start because of that. i dont know were the relay is located.

It's not the relay . It's most likely the wire in the ignition switch, from turning the car on & off over the years it causes the wire to break . you need to change the cylinder & have the key coded.

its the security system you will have to go to gm and thay will have to reset it but to warn you it is very costly
