I'm buying a 2001 Chevy Impala ls, I know

near the driver's side door where a line

Are you looking for a part number? Google OEM GM parts. Any brake shop or mechanic can replace the hard line and union for you by splicing in a new one if you don't want to replace the whole entire brake line on that side of the vehicle.
