Wut transmission will interchange with the 4l60e on a 2003 long wheel base s-10?

Question type: General

2003 s-10 is only
shifting to second
gear...when you
manually put it in third it
won't catch the gear.
Jus over revs alot...I
have another 4l60e out
of a blazer that does the
same thing...can I make
one work out of the 2? I
can't afford a new one
and I'll do all the work
myself....does anyone
kno wut other granny's I
can put in its place
being a 4.3 v6 vortec?

Go to the salvage yard and get another transmission from a low mileage 2001 and up S10. Flush out the old transmission fluid that is in the lines before installation, then change the filter and fluid on the replacement.
