Asked by Debra Jun 18, 2018 at 10:17 AM about the 2003 Chevrolet S-10 Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

have a 2003 s10 which has been sitting for 9 months. changed the plugs, spark
plugs, distrib cap and rotor.  Still has a miss...thinking the coil pack needs to be
changed.  Do you have instructions at all?  the vehicle does blow black thru the
exhaust when floored.

1 Answer

Unplug the wires (don't mix up the plug wires). Unbolt the coil pack and install the new one. Label the wires if you need to!
