Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 s10 4.3 V6 it I'd getting
16 miles to the gallon.  It has a new
fuel pump, bosh plugs wires cap and
rotor, both O2 sensors. Fuel pressure
regulator as well. New fuse for the air
pump. And still getting 16 mpg.

thats not far from normal. I had a gmc jimmy 2wd with the 4.3 and it averaged 15mpg. It ran great, and thats just how it is. On an all highway trip with moderate speeds you might approach 20mpg. Also AcDelco plugs are best for these motors, not Bosch.

I'm getting 200 miles to a tank of gas and less then 6 months ago I was getting 350 to a tank. We do 90% freeway driving at 70-75 mph
