Is there anything I disconnect before I replace my IAC on my 2001 S10 2.2L Manual Transmission

if there is something in the way, maybe? You could disconnect the negative battery cable first if you want, before you pull the electrical connection. Or just don't have the ignition on.

I replaced IAC in my truck & hear my fuel pump running but not starting & security light isn't flashing either. Also replaced my TPS at same time
