On chevy s10 truck

I have a hose under the fan that is undone
and can't figure out where it goes!!

Not enough info. A description of the hose would be nice. But to take a stab at it. If the hose is the size of your index finger and an obvious vacuum hose a n d your 4WD does not work then I suggest removing your battery and battery tray so you can inspect your vacuum lines that operate your 4WD. Sorry I just got a second look at your post. I didn't look at the picture on the first pass. This is still a guess but it may be some kind of aftermarket heating (for winter use) system. Do you see a power cord nearby? Good luck "again".
