Car wont start

Car wont start. Wont jump and starter was just replaced a couple months ago. I turn the key and it makes a swosh sound and nothing happens and it wont start.  It doesn't make a clicking sound just the swosh. What could it be?

Your starter is not catching, so it's either the starter or your flywheel is missing one or more teeth.
