Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1999 s10 4.3l vortec, it misses in
cylinder 4, I have replaced the spark plug,
and plug wire, but it continues to misfire, I
am thinking I have a problem with the
distributor cap or the whole distributor, I
don't have the catalytic converter because
it rusted off ( typical GM product) could it
be because it isn't reading co2

Yes needs the cats on there. ECU can't adjust the air fuel mixture to were it needs to be. Its probably running rich.
