have a1999 s10 automatic trans ,2.2 ,already fixed 1870 code,but still have over drive kicks out some times and feels like it slips when you kick it down out of over drive around 50 mph.

Should take it to a trany shop for proper diagnosis.

I took it to tranny shop ,they found nothing mechanical wrong with trans.

I don't know then, it must be fine if that trany shop says so. Right hey, try to find someone else to look at it.
