98s10 died an now want start

I was going down interstate an it just died on me...
It will crank but not turn over.. also bought new
battery the day I got truck an now a week later the
battery is dead... An it also isn't getting any spark

I'd say you have an electrical short , it may have grounded out and killed the motor by burning out the coil circuit ? you may also have another that drains the batt. check any fusible links or major fuses , sensors can be toasted by just the 12V , some use lower voltages , ie. the computer can be ruined by the 9V batt. in a multi meter
