fuel gauge reads way passed full no matter how much gas is in my tank.

my fuel gauge keeps sitting on the word fuel which is beyond passed a full
tank. It doesn't matter how much gas i have in my tank either, need help
please.

That's an indiacation there is an open in the fuel sender circuit, so the most common is the sender itself but you need to make sure the wiring is good.
