Check fuel lines for leaks..smell gas..and there notrious for sending units going..once its running and been running does it start good?if you have line leak it could suckin air or loosein prime over night..thus in mornin it takes forever for pump(which might be tired)to prime back up to pressure...turn key to on without turning over does pump in gas tank wine then shut off or keeps on?

first take the wires off of coil or distributor, clean/dry with paper towl or tissue paper, maybe give a spray of wd40 or electrical contact cleaner, i had same problem with my 2000 s10, had a smell of raw fuel, would crank and crank, but not start. ususally happens on damp mornings or after a heavy rain. happened to me once and not again since

Coolant temp sensor brass fitting w black or grey plastic connecter w yellow and black wires. Try cycling the key Three or for times prior to start if it starts right up fuel pump is weak. Any issues while warm? Flooding? heavy smell of partially burned fuel?
