Does it turn on the check engine light? If it seems "sluggish " on acceleration That would be your mass air flow sensor. More info needed, motor size and mileage would be helpful. .

Hi thank you for answering No the check engine light doesn't come on I had that sensor replaced a few years ago. 1995 Chevy S-10 almost 241000 miles on it 2.2 engine Only thing I haven't replaced since owning this truck is the gas tank, radiator and fuel pump.

Scan your OBD 2 even if light isn't on it still could have a code stored. Fuel filter could be restricting fuel flow or pump out put could be dropping off from age.
