95 s10 fuel problem

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey guys ive got a good question for you. I have a
95 chevy s10 with the 2.2 multi port injection. My
problem is i cant get the truck started.   I know its
getting spark because i can run it off ether.  I know
fuel is getting to the injectors.  And i know that all
of the injectors are getting the voltage they need.
But my engine isnt starting.  The fuel pump
wouldnt run for some reason so i just installed an
aftermarket switch and wires. I tried replacing the
pump and relay but no luck.  I found out that the
relay wasnt grounding out to complete the circut.
My question is this.  Does the trucks computer
have a way of stopping the fuel pump and the
injectors from getting the ground they need. And if
so is there a way to reset the computer.  Ive pulled
the battery multiple times but no luck.   Please any
advice is helpful.
