s10 won't start without ether

My bill has a 2001 s10  blazer with the 2.8l .    It
won't start without ether,  but once it starts it will
run fine all  day.   New fuel pump and fuel filter.

Add some fuel injector cleaner to gas tank sounds like the intake and fuel injectors need a good cleaning.

There was neither a 2.8 or 4.8 in the 2001 s10. Only a 2.2 or 4.3. If it's a 4.3 they are known for injector issues
