91 2.8 S10 Starter wiring/Fuel Pump

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just finished bolting up my used 2.8 motor and went to start it up hoping for the best
to no avail. It wouldn't so much as make a sound. Headlights work, dash lights work.
When wiring the starter, all diagrams I looked at said the positive side had 3 wires
including positive to battery, and one from the smaller stud to the harness somewhere
(maybe knowing where would help me make sure its the right one?). I only have 2
wires near my starter that will fit onto the positive side of my starter and 3 that will not
including alternator which I believe goes to the battery if I'm correct. The starter will
turn motor over if jumped off of solenoid but the motor will not get fuel. Tried almost
everything and am clueless at what to do next.

The starter should have a large cable from the battery to the large post on the starter and the signal wire on the small post.

I had them wired like that, but nothing when I tried turning over motor. Would not having my clutch bled completely keep it from turning over? Im not sure if it is or not. Has pressure, just not what it had before.

Yes your clutch has to be or I should say clutch pedal has to be shoved in or fully compressed to the floor before the motor will crank over an start,,theres a switch on the clutch pedal about like a brake light switch that works when the pedal is compressed,or pushed in
