1991 s10 wont start back up when the motor gets warm

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When the motor is cold my truck will start up fine, but if I run it for a little bit and kill it, it will not start up again if it sits for longer than 5 minutes. The only way I can get it started is if I push it and dump the clutch. But if it sits for 3 hours or so it will start right up with no problem. I have been told it could be a couple different things like a bad electronic choke, or bad injectors, but nobody seems to know for sure. I am trying to figure out for sure before I have to spend too much money.

Same here, ran great until I shut it off. Then I could wait for up to 3 hrs before it would start again. I replaced the MAP sensor and haven't had a bit of trouble since.
