Wont start

Asked by Carin Feb 02, 2019 at 10:05 AM about the 2001 Chevrolet Blazer LS 4-Door 4WD

When it was a snowstorm I started my blazer started right
up I let it run for a half an hour and shut it off with no
problem. The windchill got 25 below I attempted to start it
it wouldn't start. It flooded I put new plugs in and it still
won't start. Possible causes?

At extreme low temperatures a lot can happen to prevent a vehicle from starting; oil turns to thick sludge, even the tiniest bit of water in fuel tank and lines will freeze, batteries die, relays can freeze up, moisture in the exhaust system can freeze, and borderline coils can cease working. Only suggestion I can make is to go through your starting and charging system to ensure it's working then look at fuel delivery for problems.
