I have a loud "clink" noise when I put my 2001 honda crv into gear, it sounds like it is coming from the rear of the vehicle, auto matic transmission

The front axles fail on these on occasion, I recommend having someone inspect them as soon as you can, if it fails it would leave you stranded.
