Ignition in 99 Honda crv

I have a 99 Honda CRV automatic and the other
day when I take my key out my key was stuck and I
could not get to come out. I tried turning the wheel
I tried you know making sure it was up in park blah
blah blah and it just would not come out. And it's
stuck on like the second position worth constantly
beeping which means going to drain my battery of
course so somebody showed me how to take the
negative off of my battery and once I do that I can
get my key out of the ignition. What could be
wrong with my ignition or my key tumbler or I don't
know what but again the only way Mikey will come
out if I take my terminal off my battery and then
Mikey will turn back one more Notch and it comes
out right away. Help what is wrong with my

It appears that this is a damaged neutral safety switch; it controls the key cylinder release. Or you have a damaged key cylinder key release. These are frequently troublesome and not easy to fix. You need a mechanic to figure out which is the problem and fix it.
