Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Took off valve cover from 98 CRV,  belt slivers, stuck to cover, how do you check the wear
on sprockets ( of course belt is loose being once its set you tighten bolt so it can't
continually tension belt), or ran out of adjustment? Haven't taken apart yet, tomorrow.
