I had a similar problem with my '98 CRV. I had the recall performed for the ignition switch but still had stalling issue. I did have fuel pump replaced years ago and replaced fuel filter myself. Still no luck. Took it to mechanic and they said ignition coil needed to be replaced. Did that and still had stalling issues. Parked the crv for a year or so. Came back to it did some searching on the forums and found some one with same issues that had found that the wiring on the distributor itself had over heated and failed. XXXX Replaced the distributor assembly and have no more stalling issues. XXXX
