Draining the fuel tank on a 97 CRV

CRV has been in storage for 2 years, has less than 1/4 tank of gas, car cranks
but never turns over...what are my options to drain the stale gas from the tank?

if i am not mistaken, I wont be able to get to the bottom of the tank from the filler because of a safety valve or mesh screen at the filler tube?
