I have a 2006 Taurus sel with 83,334 miles. It runs perfect, but has never had a tune-up. Should I get one, and what is the average cost as I am 80 and not rich.

Iridiums can be bought for less than $10 each. Plugs, filters and fluid changes would be a good idea. If you have a competent relative or friend you can service your car for a couple of hundred bucks.
