Car died while driving

Asked by scroopulous Jul 15, 2018 at 11:17 PM about the 1991 Ford LTD Crown Victoria 4 Dr STD Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm just gonna do the short version. Driving home from work, stereo started skipping halfway home, made it to offramp stereo died, car still running though. Drove down the road a bit more, the ac died afterwards, then the dash board died along with the speedometer, then finally my car died itself but i had the momentum to park it somewhere thank god.

Anyhow i tested the battery and alternator at O'Reilly's and both were fine so i dont know what else would cause this to happen to me.

UPDATE: Okay there is more to the situation. After putting the car back together i let it run adn kept an eye on the volt gauge, and it indeed is loosing its charge quicklike. ALSO the a\c unit is leaking bad is the problem connected? i dont know
