Most speedometer problems can be linked to the vehicles speed sensor, a live data scanner can read that in real time so you can compair what the scanner says the speed is and what the speedo is reading, if the sensor is not stable or a null reading repalce the sensor, if the sensor is stable and has what appears to be accurate and still no speedo then wiring or the speedo head is damaged. Electric fan clutches have had different kinds of problems, wiring, connections, sensors, even the clutch units themselves, I recommend that the pros take a look at this so you get fixed properly, you don't want an overheat problem as that can get really expensive really quick.
