2002 Chevy Trailblazer

I have a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer. The gauge
shows the temperature overheated.  Water
pump, fan motor, clutch , thermostat all
have been replaced.  It doesn't do it all the
time,  if I turn the air on.  Anyone have
ideas what could be wrong ?

Our gauges are not accurate. Assuming you have no leaks and have good coolant level. Hook up a scanner and see what the real temperature is, should be close to your thermostat temp rating around 195. Likely you have the i6 engine, you didn't mention if you changed the temperature sensor. Luckily in 02, it's located right above the thermostat. With a new temp sensor, our gauges will read right at 210 or just a hair to the right. If it's still overheating shown by a scanner showing real temperature, I'd burp the system, could have air in it. If still overheating, I'd have your coolant checked for a possible head gasket leak, not common at all on this engine though.
