Oil gauge raises over half when i rev my
motor

That does not sound like a problem. It should read around the middle or higher when you are driving down the highway.

Your oil gauge should read about 40 to 60 pounds per square inch PSI and normally I should read about 40 pounds at idle and when you rub it it should go up a little bit up to about 50 to 55 60 depending on how much you're rubbing it but it should stay right in the middle
