2004 f250 super duty

My 2004 f250 5.4 liter will start up and die shortly
after.  What could it be?

This is frequently a faulty mass airflow sensor or a faulty ignition coil, or maybe the fuel pump relay. There could be a lot of other causes, but these are the most common.

The idle control valve may be faulty.
