Mileage when towing

That all depends on how heavy the load is, the frontal area of the trailer and how fast you are going. I would estimate at least a 25% reduction in MPG.

All depends on the load, the road conditions and if you are going up and down hills, no real formula about 12 to 20 percent...

If I am towing a really heavy load (nearly 2x my pickup weight) the mileage goes down around 40%. This is driving 60 instead of 75 too.
