What engine is in that ? Have you bled the master cylinder? Is there a little step through in your booster? You can always stop by the Ford dealer and have someone road test with you to be sure. There are procedures for bleeding that can help, and there are some design factors with how effective the linings are. They would be happy to help.

Sure, I had to ask because pressing the pedal harder than needed as a "layman's test" has led to much unnecessary replacements in the past, The step through of some of those boosters would let you keep forcing it down, but lining effectiveness and backing off was helping. The late 90's with diesel had objectional stepthrough on occasion. I had to get engineering to assist somtimes. Then they had it figured out. Glad you had success.
