My cruise control stops working

Asked by Mar 28, 2017 at 01:51 AM about the 2005 Ford F-150 STX 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have had this looked at for many years and no one can seem to find the
problem. There has to be a reason why the cruise control stops working just
out of the blue.

The cruise control on newer vehicles is electronically controlled and controlled by the PCM/ECU. Troubleshooting problems beyond a blown fuse is beyond the ability of individuals without testing equipment.
