2004 Ford F-150

Every now and then when we drive the truck
somewhere we turn the truck off and won't even
be long and try to start it to leave and the truck will
not crank. We'll hear a clicking coming from the
fuse box. After a few minutes up to 20 minutes I'm
guessing after things cool off the truck will crank
up and not give us any trouble. It's hard to pinpoint
the problem. It does it maybe every other day.

Sounds like the starter is overheating check to make sure the heat shield that separates starter from the exhaust heat is not missing.

Are you sure the click is coming from the fuse box? Could it be a solenoid relay mounted on the fenderwell near the battery. It's nothing more than a electrical switch where a low voltage current (coming from the ignition) is used to switch a high voltage (from the battery) to the starter. If you can jump the solenoid when the problem happens, and the vehicle turns over, the solenoid could be going out and being affected by the heat. Also check all your battery connections making sure they are clean and tight.
