Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Chevrolet Malibu has recently been diagnosed with a
short under the dash, can u give me an estimate for fixing
this problem.

No. Without knowing exactly what is wrong the fix could take from 1 hour to 20 hours or more to repair.

What problems are you having from this "computer diagnosed short" Most shorts are diagnosed by a blown fuse ,,, however if it's a short or ground in the Data system it may be tough to find... I usually go 2 the cars computer, find the IO than trace but all computer terminals also go through other compartments so how does this computer know that it's under the dash?
