Chevy Malibu 2002 wont pump gas

A week ago I went to pump gas I could barely get 2.00 into it. I took the car to
the shop and was told I needed a new gas tank. I paid 590 and drove off
without a problem. A week later Im struggling again to put gas into my tank,
Its barely taking 4.00
