Truck won't turn over!

I was driving my 2004 Ford F-150 on the freeway
approximately 70mph and the low oil pressure light
came on and the truck just stopped running! I
pushed the gas and nothing! It was like it died! So I
noticed my rpm drop so I coasted off the freeway
and Checked the oil! The oil was full and it wasn't
overheating or anything! I tried to start it and
nothing happened! The battery works cause
everything electrical was operating properly! I took
the belt off and it still wouldn't turn over! Any ideas
on what it could be? The truck didn't make any
noise nor did it jolt the truck in any way! Thanks!

OIl pump failure can destroy an engine quickly. Check the engine and make sure you can rotate the crankshaft. Hopefully its not seized and destroyed. Normally happens to HIGH mileage or poorly maintained vehicles and sometime just happens.

also when the low oil pressure light comes on it kills the engine so no damage happens to the engine. sometimes the switch just goes bad and if your engine is not cranking it may be the the low pressure switch, but if you hear the the starter engage and not turn the engine over it is seized up.

I had same thing happen but I turned my truck off it was till driving fine but I didn't like the gauge not reading shit it off then would turn over could the timing chain broke and bound everything up?
