if a 2002 Impala turns of intermittently could it be a electrical issue?

Asked by SetJack Apr 20, 2012 at 03:39 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet Impala LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced the BCM (used) in a 2002 impala and just replaced the alternator (used) and bought a new battery. Car is still turning off while driving.

The shutting off issue happens once in a blue moon in my 01 Imapala. I haven't figured out if it's got anything to do with the security chip giving me the finger making it impossible to start or not. Over time I just expect it to happen. For mine it will shut off once a month and the security issue will happen about 5 or 6 times a month.
