2003 ford F150 will not crank turn key to start gauges 0 out head lts etc.work fine .anti theft lt. blinks rapidly

Those keys usually don't go bad. Check ground cabkes and make sure connector plugs are plugged in allthe way on pcm under hood on firewall on passenger side

pcm plugs seam tobe ok and cables are tight and look ok. I jumped the soienoid to see if it would crank and it did but woulnd fire.

Ok try this: Disconnect truck battery for 1 minute. Before you reconnect it, turn ignition switch to on position and then reconnect battery.

Thanks I disconnected the battery + and- and turned the key on then rehooked the batt. and the same no crank. any other ideas?

Also could it possibly be the ignition? and can I check it?

I really don't know if there's a way to check it without a computer. The key is not communicating with the PCM, might have to get a new key but either way ur gonna have to go to dealer
