Do you have electronic hvac? Any applicable trouble codes? To check codes, yourself, at the least, you need an obd 2 code reader that will work with your vehicle. It should read manufacturer specific codes, as well as p0 codes. The diagram is for electronic hvac. If you pull either one of those fuses, it should kill the compressor clutch. You can even pull that relay, it should kill the compressor clutch. As far as temp, could be something going on with temp door for some reason? Your control module may have a problem? Don't replace anything unless your testing points in that direction. The first part of my post should kill the compressor.

also the low and medium fan settings do not work..only high does. i swapped out tge whole part with the knobs on it with one that worked for sure and it didnt fix problem.....
