Car radio and window function won’t work when car is on  
recently changed radio. Turns on when I turn the key
backwards. Everything works fine but when I turn it on
both stop working.  Ford F-150 lightning 2002

I'm thinking there was no red wire when hooking it up and that the computer actually turns the radio on , I think you need a computer interface adapter or something needs to be re wired, the red from the stereo would have to go to the fuse panel and hook up with something hot in the run position ,
