My Check Engine Soon Light Has come on and, my Truck is running rough.Lights dim when I rev Engine.How do I get into diagnostic mode to read codes.Can I use a wire to jumpinto diagnostic mode?

Your best bet would be to take it to Autozone. The have an OBDII code reader and will check your codes for free. If your lights are going diw when it idles up you may want to load test your alternator. I think Autozone will do that as well but not sure of the price. Aside from that, I would check all the connections from the alternator and the battery etc
