F150 clutch issue

2000 Ford F150 2wd, manual trans, grinds and
hard to put into reverse, once you start going,
gears easily shift, however when going to stop, and
clutch is depressed, it still tries to pull, like it's still
in gear. Is this a slave cylinder  issue?

I have checked the fluid, bled the system etc. I know that I do have to pull tranny. Just wanted to get another opinion if the slave cylinder sounded right. Thanks alot for your info.
