F 150 won't start

I have a 2000 f150 4.2 truck won't start
without starter fluid. Once it starts it will
stay running. I changed my fuel pump, fuel
filter and fuel regulater. I checked the
inertia switch.Any ideas?

Should do a fuel bleed down test, (fuel pressure should be 30 to 45 lbs). Hook in a fuel pressure gauge, build up the fuel pressure, with the key off watch the gauge. It should hold fuel pressure. If it dose not you may have some leaky injectors.
