Shift into gear, push on gas and truck doesn't go froward

When I push the gas the engine revs up but the truck moves like I'm just
idling. I cant feel it shift into gear. I can shift it down to the lower gears. It will
shift into reverse okay but not drive?

Check the transmission fluid level. If OK, try accelerating from a stop after shifting it manually to a lower gear (L1, L2, etc,...). If it accelerates fine in any of these, you have internal transmission problems.
