Hello,
I own a base model 2002 Cavalier with 2.2 OHV Engine. It has 162k miles on
it. I also own a 1999 Base model 2.2 OHV Cavalier. Is it possible to remove
the engine from the 1999 Cavy and place it into the 2002? Will there be any
complications between the years? Thanks!

Probably not, should swap right out, just hook up the same as motor that was in there originally
