I bought a used 98 f150 4whl dr, ck engine light was on big time, was in 4whl, now  no light but goes from 3rd to neutral  started down road and shifted from 3rd to neutral,  stopped , pushed 4whl lever forward,  light went off and worked fine for 2500 miles,
